Gluggaveður

Gluggaveður

In Iceland they called "Gluggaveður" ...

To the false promise of warm weather. From the window, everything looks very nice and warm outside, but it is actually very cold. The word gluggaveður comes from gluggi "window" and veður "weather". There is no need to tell you that this is practically the Icelandic climate all year round.
