I hope you have, dear readers, your engines ready, because we are now more than prepared for the feast and the celebrations. Today Hurðaskellir arrived, which means that we are almost a week away from Christmas Eve. Hopefully you have done your Christmas shopping, if you are thinking about buying something, or that you are already on holiday, because we all deserve a break (especially this year) and that you can have a phenomenal December.
The idea of today's text is: “a picture is worth a thousand words''. We went for a walk, to see the decorations and Christmas lights around some points of the downtown area. More specifically, the center of Reykjavik and Hafnarfjörður. The idea was that it might be snowing by then, but it wasn't. It is not that it is warm, it is still cold, enough to be well clothed, but winter hasn’t felt the same way as it did last year. The idea is for you to enjoy the lights, hoping that the photos in the gallery can take you for a walk as well, even if it is in the imaginary, in the Icelandic winter (although it has not fully arrived yet).
